Fate/Apocrypha is a light novel from Type-Moon's popular Fate/stay night franchise, written by Yūichirō Higashide and illustrated by Ototsugu Konoe. The first novel was released on December 29, 2012 at Comiket 83. The second volume was released on August 16, 2013. The third volume was released on December 29, 2013. The fourth volume was released on May 30, 2014. The fifth and final volume was released on December 30, 2014. A manga adaptation by Akira Ishida was announced, with the first volume being released on April 15, 2016. An anime television series adaptation by A-1 Pictures is scheduled to premiere in 2017.
